MrsS Roomy SUV with Great "I Wants" May 21, 2019 GLS
Overall Score
We just purchased a used Hyundai Santa Fe from MMS Motors in Oakville. We found it on Auto Trader. After being a Kia Sportage owner for 10 years, the Santa Fe is roomier and has vents in the back on each back door frame which we really wanted and found air ventilation lacking in the Sportage. 17" wheels are larger and provides a much smoother ride. More storage space and power outlets. I really look after my vehicles and it will be nice to enjoy the sunroof, leather interior, smoother ride.

Issue: Certain vehicles may be equipped with a 4-pin accessory trailer wiring harness kit that could fail. Over time, this could result in a short circuit that can cause the control module to overheat. Note: This recall only affects Hyundai Genuine 4-pin tow hitch wiring harness kits with the part number S2F67-AC401. These kits may have been ordered at the time of a vehicle purchase or purchased separately from a dealer as an aftermarket accessory. Safety Risk: A short circuit can create a fire risk, even while the vehicle is parked and turned off. Corrective Actions: Hyundai will notify owners by mail and instruct you to bring your vehicle to a dealership to inspect the vehicle for a trailer wiring harness kit. If necessary, the dealer will install a 15A fuse and a wire extension kit. Safety Mfr
Certain vehicles equipped with 2.7 liter V-6 engines. Improperly manufactured crankshaft position sensors (cps) were installed. The CPS cases were improperly manufactured and did not meet dimensional specifications. Internal gaps within the cases allowed epoxy to contact the printed circuit board, which resulted in cracking of the printed circuit board capacitor. A damaged CPS capacitor could result in engine stalling. Correction: Dealers will replace the CPS.
